Privacy Policy

Last updated 11 August 2026

This policy explains how Asionis Technology Ltd(“we”, “us”) collects and uses personal data when you use this website or engage us for services. We are the data controller for that data under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Who we are

Asionis Technology Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under number 16595167. Our registered office is 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. You can reach us about anything in this policy at admin@asionis.com or 07707 771599.

We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer, as we are not required to. Enquiries go to the address above and are handled by a director.

What we collect

  • Information you give us. Name, email address, phone number, company name and the content of your enquiry, when you submit a form or contact us directly.
  • Technical information. IP address, browser type, device type and the pages requested, logged automatically by our hosting provider in order to serve the site and protect it from abuse. We run no analytics or tracking on top of this.
  • Client project data. Where we deliver services, we may process data held in your systems. That processing is governed by the contract between us, in which you are the controller and we are the processor.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

  • To respond to enquiries — necessary for our legitimate interests in answering people who contact us, and for taking steps at your request before entering a contract.
  • To deliver services — performance of a contract.
  • To meet legal and accounting obligations — compliance with a legal obligation.
  • To keep the website available and secure — legitimate interests, specifically in serving pages reliably and protecting the service from abuse. This covers the request logging our hosting provider performs.

We currently run no analytics or advertising technology on this site, so there is nothing here that relies on your consent. See our Cookie Policy.

Do you have to give us your data?

No. Nothing on this site obliges you to provide anything. If you choose not to complete an enquiry form we simply cannot reply to you, and where we are engaged for services, some information is necessary to perform the contract — the engagement agreement says which.

Automated decisions

We do not make decisions about you by automated means, and we do not profile you. Enquiries are read by a person.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become projects are kept for up to 24 months. Records relating to contracts and finances are kept for seven years to meet HMRC and company law requirements. After that, data is deleted or anonymised.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us operate — hosting, email delivery, appointment scheduling, payment processing and professional advisers — and only as far as needed. Where a provider processes data outside the UK, we rely on adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, correct it, erase it, restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. To exercise any of these, email admin@asionis.com. We respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls and the principle of least privilege. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top reflects the current version.
