Frequently asked questions

How long does a project take?

Most projects launch within four to eight weeks. Larger platforms run longer, but we break them into releases so something useful ships early rather than everything arriving at the end.

What does it cost?

It depends entirely on scope, so we will not pretend otherwise. After the free consultation you get a written summary with an indicative cost. Smaller websites and automations typically start in the low thousands; platforms and enterprise systems run considerably higher.

Do I have to sign a long-term contract?

No. We do not require long-term contracts. Ongoing support and managed services are available if you want them, but they are optional.

Is the team based in the UK?

Yes. Every team member is UK-based, so you are working in your own timezone and language, with people you can actually get hold of during your working day.

Who owns the code?

You do. On completion and settlement of fees, the intellectual property in bespoke work transfers to you. We will confirm this in writing in the engagement terms.

Do you work with businesses outside Leicester?

Yes. We are based in Leicester and work with clients across the UK. Most collaboration happens remotely, and we travel for kick-offs and key milestones where it helps.

Can you take over an existing project?

Often, yes. We start with a short technical review of what exists, then tell you honestly whether continuing or rebuilding is the better value. Not every rescue is worth doing and we will say so.

What happens after launch?

You get a support window as standard. Beyond that we offer managed services covering hosting, monitoring, security patching and ongoing development — again, optional.
